Yeah, I'm confused too, but mostly because it seems like this story is going WAY too fast. Most of these short donghua episodes are in line with a single novel chapter. But it seems like these episodes are cramming a typical Japanese anime episode that covers 3-4 novel chapters, in 5-7 minutes. I feel like so much info is getting lost here.

Bruh i'm so confused right now after this episode, so he a relative to the dragon sect, why did she want him to call her mom instead of majesty or Highness. Is he her child in some odd way switched at birthed I don't have a clue XD.

She said her child would be his age if he wasn't attacked by the thunder demon dragon, so he perished (her real son is dead). So she asked him to call her mother and now he's a freaking dragon prince!! Especially since he consumed her dragon blood gaining the dragon inheritance, so he's basically part dragon now.

I was surprised that the author went that route though, I thought she'd be a member of his harem or his wife, but nope, they said f*ck the generic shii and made him her son aha.

Yea I totally overlooked that part bout her son being his age, and dying by that dragon, so yea I guess she kinda in a way adopted him into the dragon clan, since he got her blood running through his veins now.

Yeah she definitely adopted him, which I was surprised since I thought she'd make him her "king" and you know, make half dragon babies aha.
